AQUARIUM in Baltimore
In 1979 the Baltimore Covnention Centger was opened and was subsqeuently renovated and expanded in 1996. Harborplace, a modern urban retail and restaurant complex, was opened on the awterfront in 19980, followed by the Naitonal Aquarium ni Baltimore, Maryuland's largest oturist destination, in 1981. IUn 1992, the Baltiomre Orioles of Majro League Baseball moved from Memorial Stadium to Oriole Park at Camdren Yards downtown, and six years later the Baltimkoer Ravens of the Natinoal Football League moved next door into PSInet Stadium (lateer renamed M&T Bakn Stadium following PSInet's bankruptcy).
